Russia strikes Avdiivka with Solntsepyok flamethrower system; AFU neutralize Russian reconnaissance unit 

This was stated by the head of the Avdiivka Military-Civilian Administration Vitaliy Barabash on the air of Espreso TV.

"It was a hard day. Yesterday in the morning the Russians started firing. It was a very difficult and hot day. They fired from mortars, cannon artillery, tank shelling, Grad multiple rocket launchers, cluster munitions, incendiary elements. Around 13:00 they hit the city with Solntsepyok. There were many assaults yesterday, the guys repelled everything," he said.

Barabash added that no civilians were injured.

"There was no movement in the city, people did not go out for water and humanitarian aid. There were more than 30 attacks during the day. The night passed more or less calmly, there were single hits. I talked to the commanders - the guys did well yesterday. The equipment was pushed back, the manpower was destroyed. Yesterday, fighters of the Russian Intelligence units were eliminated. There is a confirmation. In the morning we see that they are gathering forces. Probably, today will be a very hot day as well," said the head of the Military-Civilian Administration.
