Russia strikes at shipyard in Odesa region: 4 people injured
On the morning of Monday, October 30, Russian troops attacked a shipyard in the Odesa region with ballistic missiles, injuring 4 people. A fire broke out at the site of the attack
This was reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.
"As a result of the enemy attack, four employees of the company were injured of varying severity. Two of the victims were hospitalized," the statement says.
Proceedings have been opened for violation of the laws and customs of war.
Earlier, Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, reported two victims.
He noted that a 62-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman in moderate condition were taken to the hospital. They are being provided with all necessary medical care.
In addition, the administrative building and equipment of the enterprise were damaged on the territory of the shipyard in the Odesa district. Rescuers have already extinguished the fire caused by the Russian attack.
According to the Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces, Russia used ballistic missiles, presumably an Iskander-M missile, to attack the Odesa region in the morning. Russian troops targeted port infrastructure.
Two of the victims were shipyard employees.
