Russia spreads fake that Ukrainian refugees were evicted from shelter in France
Russian resources are spreading a bogus story by the French TV channel CNews, alleging that Ukrainian refugees were evicted from the shelter for the sake of African illegal migrants
This was reported by the Centre for Countering Disinformation.
Russian propagandists commented on the fake story with a manipulative headline: "In France, Ukrainian refugees are being kicked out into the street for the sake of illegal immigrants from Africa."
"In fact, the TV channel's story does not say that Ukrainian refugees are being kicked out of school for the sake of migrants from Africa. Although Ukrainian refugees did live in the school for some time, they were no longer in the building when the migrants moved in. Russian propaganda deliberately spreads such manipulations to create a sense of fatigue from the war in Ukraine among citizens of allied countries," writes the Center for Countering disinformation.
