DTEK, a Ukrainian power company, reported the information.
"In the middle of the night of October 22, one of DTEK Energy's thermal power plants was again targeted with Russian missiles," the statement said.
It noted that there were no casualties. However, the attack severely damaged the company's equipment.
After the shelling stopped, the energy company began to eliminate its consequences.
"DTEK Energy continues to do everything possible to maintain the reliable operation of the Ukrainian power system in the face of Russia's attacks," the company added.
- In September, the company assured that the Ukrainian power system would cope with the winter if there were no new Russian strikes on the infrastructure. It all comes down to how effective the air defense system will be.
- On October 2, Russia attacked DTEK's materials warehouse in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Equipment there was also damaged.
