Russia shells Sumy region 100 times a day, wounding 17-year-old boy
On January 21, invading Russian forces launched 115 attacks on the border communities in Sumy region, destroying residential buildings
The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Dmytro Zyvytskyi, reported that the Seredyno-Buda, Esman, Novoslobidske, Bilopillia, Shalyhyne, and Krasnopillia came under fire.
“The Eaman community was shelled by the enemy with mortars (16 hits) and barrel artillery (28 hits). As a result of shelling, a 17-year-old boy in the village of Studenok was wounded by shrapnel. One residential building was destroyed - a mine hit it. About 10 other houses were damaged. In one household, a cow and a small calf were killed,” Zhyvytskyi wrote.
The Russian forces shelled the Novoslobidske community with mortars, 40 hits. The Krasnopillia community: 9 enemy mines exploded on the border. The enemy fired mortars (15 volleys) and artillery (7 volleys) into the Bilopillia community.
After 8 am, the Russian enemy opened artillery fire on the Seredyno-Buda community. 9 hits are known. No casualties.
The Shalyhyne community: the enemy opened fire from a machine gun (10 rounds) in the direction of our territory.
