Russia shells Mykolaiv residential district, killing and injuring civilians

In Mykolaiv, 7 people died as a result of Russia shelling a multi-story building.

According to the information provided by the deputy head of the Office of the President KyryloTymoshenko, one more person died in hospital.

Oleksandr Sienkevych, the mayor of Mykolaiv, reported on Telegram that as of 10:00 a.m., 6 people had been killed due to the attack on the residential building. The rescue team had recovered the bodies of 2 women and 1 man from under the rubble.

At 9:56 a.m., the deputy head of the President's Office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, wrote on Telegram that 5 people had lost their lives as a result of the shelling.

"Regarding the shelling of Mykolaiv: among the five who died from Russian shells was a married couple. A 16-year-old child survived because he was sleeping in another room.

The social service is dealing with the boy," Tymoshenko informs.

At 9:35 a.m., the head of Mykolaiv regional military administration, Vitaliy Kim wrote on Telegram that the number of people killed as a result of an attack on a house in Mykolaiv had increased to 4.

As of 09:00, the State Emergency Service reported that emergency services had retrieved another body from the rubble of a building in Mykolaiv. Previously, services had discovered 3 dead people, 4 more people remained under the rubble.

Earlier, Oleksandr Sienkevych, Mykolaiv mayor, and Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, reported on the attack on Telegram.

“Today, November 11, at around 03:05, Mykolaiv once again came under enemy missile attack from the S-300 MLRS, according to the available information. One of the missiles hit a five-story residential building, as a result of which all five floors of one of the entrances were destroyed,” wrote Kim.

Moreover, residential buildings located nearby were damaged. At that time, it was known that there were 2 dead and 2 wounded.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy published a video from the site of the enemy's attack on Telegram.

“Mykolaiv. The terrorist state's cynical response to our successes at the front… Russia does not give up its despicable tactics. And we will not give up our struggle. The occupiers will be held to account for every crime against Ukraine and Ukrainians,” stated Zelenskyy.
