Russia shells Donetsk region, hitting houses, industrial area and historical building
On January 3, Russian troops have shelled the Donetsk region, hitting a residential building in Kurakhove, an industrial area in Kostiantynivka, and a historic building in Bakhmut
Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, shared the information.
According to the head, on the night of January 4, Russian troops shelled along the entire frontline.
In the Volnovakha direction, Russian troops shelled Vuhledar, Vodyane and Prechystivka. No people were injured.
Kurakhove came under fire in the Donetsk direction, a man died and 4 more people were injured as a result of the shelling of a 5-story building.
"Russian troops also fired at Hirnyk village of Kurakhove community at night, and in the morning at Veselove of the Ocheretyne community. They also launched Grad MLRS shelling at Avdiivka 4 times. There were no casualties," wrote Pavlo Kyrylenko.
In the Horlivka direction, in Kostyantynivka, the Russian army hit an industrial area, there were also hits near a school. Residents of the town were not injured.
"In Soledar community 1 person was killed in Blahodatne, 8 houses in Paraskoviivka and 5 houses in Nykyforivka were damaged. A historic building in the city center was damaged in Bakhmut," said the head.
In the Lysychansk direction, more than 20 Russian strikes were registered. Torske and Zarichne settlements of the Lyman community were hit. There were no casualties.
