Russia shells Barvinkove, Kharkiv region, injuring one and killing two people
On the morning of February 3, Russian troops shelled the town of Barvinkove, Kharkiv region. The missile hit a residential building; two brothers were killed and their father was injured
It was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov.
“Today at around 04:30 in the morning, the enemy shelled the town of Barvinkove, Izyum district. As a result of hitting a private residential building, 2 brothers, 49 and 42 years old, were killed. Their 70-year-old father was injured and hospitalized," he wrote.
During the past day, February 2, the enemy continued shelling civilian population of Vovchansk, Kupyansk, Dvorichna and other settlements of Chuhuiv, Kupyansk and Kharkiv districts.
A private residential building was set on fire. Many houses were damaged and destroyed, set on fire.
A 51-year-old woman was injured in Vovchansk. She received urgent medical aid.
According to Syniehubov, humanitarian demining of the region is ongoing. During the day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service defused 29 explosive objects.
