Russia shells 8 Ukrainian regions to destroy transport infrastructure - Ukrainian General Staff

Russia launched missile attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Lviv, Vinnytsya, Kyiv, Transcarpathian, Odesa and Donetsk regions

The General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces published their regular report on military actions.

Over the previous day, Ukraine's Air Defense Units hit 7 Russian drones and 8 cruise missiles. They repulsed 12 Russian attacks and destroyed 6 tanks, 5 artillery systems (3 of them were multiple missile launchers), 15 armored combat vehicles and 9 vehicles in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Russia suffered losses in other directions.

In the Slobozhansky direction (northeast Ukraine - Ed.), Russians fired at Kharkiv and Protopopivka with artillery and mortars. They conducted aerial reconnaissance in Kutuzivka and Oleksandrivka settlements, Kharkiv region. Russian troops tried to go offensive in the Dovgenke direction, but failed.

In the Donetsk (east Ukraine - Ed.) and Tauride directions (south Ukraine - Ed.), Russians are shelling the Ukrainian troops divisions.

In the Lyman direction (Donetsk region - Ed.), Russians are reinforcing their forces and they have stepped up aerial reconnaissance. They are advancing in the Shandrigolove direction, and the fighting continues. Also, Russians are storming Popasna.

In Mariupol (Donetsk region - Ed.), Russian invaders continue to inflict air strikes and fire at the Azovstal plant. In the Zaporizhzhya direction, they tried to storm Orikhove settlement, but failed.

In the temporarily occupied Gorlivka (Donetsk region - Ed.), more than 100 bodies of mobilized Russian servicemen who died in the Zaporizhzhya region were delivered to the central morgue.

In the Southern Bug direction (southwest Ukraine - Ed.), Russians used artillery, multiple launch missile systems and tank armament along the entire line of collision. Hostilities intensified in the Tomyna Balka settlement.

The situation in the Bessarabian direction (south Ukraine - Ed.) is tense, but controlled.

No Russian active actions over the past day in the Volhynia and Polissya directions (northwest Ukraine - Ed.) Belarus Armed Forces continue to cover the Ukrainian-Belarusian border in the Brest and Gomel regions. One Missile Battalion of the 465th Belarus Missile Brigade has moved from permanent deployment to the destination area.

In the Siversk direction (north Ukraine - Ed.), there were no signs of the formation of a Russian offensive group. Russia's Armed Forces Units from the Central Military District have been deployed in the Novi Yurkovychi, Pogar and Lomakovka automobile checkpoints in the Russian Bryansk region.
