He wrote about this on Telegram.
"The special operation will continue, and its goal will remain the disarmament of Ukrainian troops and the rejection of the neo-Nazi ideology by the current Ukrainian state," Medvedev said.
He also said that Russia will seek a change of government in Ukraine. In addition, Russia is seeking to seize more Ukrainian cities.
"Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk (Dnipro - ed.), Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Kyiv are Russian cities, like many other temporarily occupied ones. All of them are still marked in yellow and blue on paper maps and electronic tablets," Medvedev wrote.
He noted that negotiations are possible, and "Russia has never rejected them." However, he said the talks would not change Russia's plans to seek Ukraine's surrender.
- On December 27, the Prime Minister of Saxony (Germany), Michael Kretschmer, said that Ukraine should accept the temporary loss of territory for the sake of a truce with Russia. Ukraine's Foreign Affairs Ministry said that concessions of territory would lead to even greater Russian aggression.
