Russia’s MoD reports almost 40 targets downed over Belgorod region

The Russian Defense Ministry reports.
It is noted that the Russian air defense allegedly destroyed three Vilkha MLRS rockets, 32 Vampire MLRS rockets, and three drones over the territory of the Belgorod region.
Instead, Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region, claimed that two children's camps were damaged - one of them to an outbuilding and the other to a stadium field.
According to the governor, there are also damaged windows in high-rise buildings, and one car was cut.
Later, Gladkov reported one dead person as a result of the alleged shelling of the Yakovlevka city district. The Russian air defense system was allegedly activated there, and the second floor of a private house was destroyed.
- On May 19, Russia also reported drone and missile attacks in several of its regions. Ukrainian drones attacked the Kushchevskaya military airfield and the Slavyansk oil refinery in the Krasnodar region, as well as an oil depot in the Leningrad region.
