The Russian Ministry of Defense wrote about this.

"Last night, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack on targets in the Russian Federation using aircraft-type UAVs and BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers was foiled," the statement said.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russian air defense allegedly intercepted and destroyed five drones and two rockets over the territories of Belgorod and Kaluga regions.

Later, Russia again accused Ukraine of attacking the Belgorod region. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket systems were used in the region.

Instead, Russian air defense "traditionally" destroyed 7 rockets.

Later, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that 2 people were injured in the city. One man has a bruised chest and a closed fracture of several ribs. The second man's face was cut by glass shards.  Gladkov said that there was also damage to multi-storey buildings, cars and shopping centers in Belgorod and the region.

Later, Gladkov reported a new shelling that killed a "member of the territorial defense".

"He was one of its active members - he repeatedly helped to evacuate civilians and ensure security in his home district. This morning he was on duty due to the difficult operational situation, at the time of the shelling the man was on the street and received serious injuries incompatible with life," the governor wrote.

The attack also allegedly destroyed houses, garages and cars.

Special operation of the Ukraine’s Intelligence

According to the sources of Ukrainian Pravda, RBC-Ukraine, and NV, Ukrainian drones attacked the petrochemical enterprise Pervyi Zavod in the Kaluga region, which is engaged in oil refining.

It is noted that the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry is behind this operation.

Instead, the Russian TG channel Astra reports that 3 drones attacked the refinery and a fire broke out.

  • On the morning of March 14, the Russian Ministry of Defense accused Ukraine of allegedly attacking two regions with 14 drones. Later, Belgorod reported a second attack.
