Russia rotates its forces in Bakhmut sector – Ukrainian serviceman
Russian forces deploy three regiments of territorial troops to Bakhmut to replace soldiers from so-called DPR and LPR
Ukrainian soldier Kyrylo Sazonov told this on Espreso TV.
"The enemy is trying to prevent us from surrounding their grouping in Bakhmut. The grouping itself has been replaced. The other day there was a rotation. The so-called 1st and 2nd army corps of the DPR and LPR were withdrawn. Instead, three regiments of Russian territorial troops were brought in – the second class," he said.
Heavy fighting continues on the outskirts of Bakhmut, particularly in Klishchiyivka. Russia is trying to recapture it. Mostly enemy paratroopers are working, reinforced with motorized rifle troops. However, they are not successful.
"Russian propagandists sadly say that 'everything is under control'. They can't even lie that they are advancing anywhere," said Kyrylo Sazonov.
