Russian military launches less kamikaze drones, ground infantry attacks continue — Tavria group of forces commander
For the second day in a row, Russia's number of "kamikaze" drones has decreased. However, Russian troops continue to drop guided bombs
Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, Commander of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group of Forces, reported the information on Telegram.
“For two days in a row, the number of kamikaze drones used has been decreasing. However, the enemy continues to drop guided KAB bombs. Ground infantry attacks continue,” the commander wrote.
He added that Russia incurs significant manpower losses, with growing instances of ordinary soldiers refusing to participate in active offensive actions across various fronts.
“The enemy continues to lose manpower by the hundreds. There are more and more cases of ordinary soldiers refusing to take part in active offensive actions in different directions. The occupiers continue to replenish their bloodless units with convicts. The Russian command considers this so-called "special contingent" to be expendable. And it throws them into meaty assaults without regret,” Tarnavskyi stated.
He stressed that Ukrainian defenders are resolutely maintaining their positions in the Avdiivka direction. Russia’s offensive efforts east of Novobakhmutivka, northeast of Berdychiv, near Avdiivka, Opytne, Sieverne, and south of Tonenke proved unsuccessful, with 23 attacks repelled.
The total losses incurred by the Russian invaders in the operational area of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group of Forces amounted to 374 soldiers. Additionally, one tank and one ammunition depot were destroyed.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces are carrying out an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction.
