Russia prepares manipulations for "first elections" in Luhansk region, allows "voting" abroad
Russian occupation authorities are preparing manipulations during the so-called first elections in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region, want to allow "voting" abroad
This was reported by the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.
"A bill has been submitted to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, according to which, during the "first elections" in the so-called "LPR", polling stations may be formed outside the territory of the "subject of the Russian Federation" by the decision of the "election commission of the subject of the Russian Federation", where such voters have an active right to vote," the press service writes.
This will reportedly allow residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region to vote abroad. "It opens up significant opportunities for manipulating the results."
In addition, Russia is pushing for the forced passportization of civilian Ukrainians. For this purpose, they are opening mobile points of acceptance of documents for obtaining a Russian passport at enterprises and institutions.
Russian proxies are also planning to hold "elections" in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia region, in particular in Melitopol.
