"While information about a large-scale Russian offensive scheduled for February 24 is being spread, Ukrainian military intelligence reports that Russia has already launched a full-scale offensive on February 24 last year, which lasts to this day," said Andriy Cherniak.
Thus, the intelligence representative said that Russia plans to intensify its efforts in eastern Ukraine in the coming weeks, looking for weaknesses in the Ukrainian defense.
"However, according to our information, the Russian command does not have sufficient resources for large-scale offensive actions. The main goal of the Russian troops remains to achieve at least some tactical success," he stated.
In particular, the Russian army lacks high-precision weapons.
"Russia is facing a shortage of precision weapons, and despite this, it will continue to use missile terror against civilians in Ukraine. Russia has already used more than 80% of its precision-guided missiles. They are trying to restore their production, but so far they have not succeeded," he summarized.
Earlier, the representative of Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate, Andriy Yusov, said that "very intense events" are expected on the battlefield in February and March.
