Russia may face fuel problems - economist Us
Russia's refining industry may encounter problems with petrol production as the special refining reagents needed were usually sourced from the US

This was stated by Ivan Us, PhD in Economics, on Espreso.
"As for the problems with fuel, they are quite possible in Russia. In order to produce it, the Russian oil refining industry used reagents that it bought primarily from the United States. Because of the sanctions, they cannot buy them," he said.
Us added that a situation is emerging that one of the Russian financiers warned about in 2014-15.
"He said that oil can be very expensive, but because it depends on reagents, Russia will not get anything from it. Because oil cannot be refined into petrol. This will also affect petrol prices at petrol stations in Russia itself," the economist concluded.
