Russia loses one soldier for every 48 cm captured in Bakhmut - UK Defence Ministry
The UK Defence Ministry has calculated that for every 48 cm of territory seized in Bakhmut, Russia lost one soldier killed or wounded.
This is stated in a video posted by the Ministry on Twitter.
"In February 2022, Russia likely planned to complete the capture of the whole of the Donbas region within 10-14 days. But in Bakhmut, for every 48 cm gained, one of its soldiers has been killed or wounded. Ukraine fights on," the British Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
