Russia loses more than 29,300 soldiers, 1,302 tanks and 205 aircraft since starting Ukraine war

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to May 24 amounted to:

•  personnel - about 29,350 (+150 per day) 

•   tanks - 1,302 (+9) 

•   armored fighting vehicles - 3,194 (+28) 

•   artillery systems - 606 (+2)

•   MLRS - 201

•   air defense systems - 93 

•   aircraft - 205 (+1)

•   helicopters - 170

•   vehicles and tank trucks - 2,213 (+7) 

•   ships/boats - 13

•   UAV operational-tactical level - 480 (+4)

•   special equipment - 43 

•   cruise missiles - 112 (+2) 

Russian forces suffered the greatest losses over the past day in the Severodonetsk direction (Donetsk region - Ed.)
