Russia loses aircraft, 42 artillery systems, 930 soldiers per day - General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to November 2, 2023, amounted to:

• personnel - about 302,420 (+930 per day) 
• tanks - 5,241 (+18)
• armored fighting vehicles - 9,877 (+43)
• artillery systems - 7,292 (+42) 
• MLRS - 850 (+4)
• air defense systems - 566 (+3)
• aircraft - 322 (+1)
• helicopters - 324
• vehicles and tank trucks - 9,658 (+34)
• ships/boats - 20
• submarines - 1
• UAV operational-tactical level - 5,488 (+20)
• special equipment - 1,032 (+13)
• cruise missiles - 1,549 (+2)

Defense Forces repelled Russian attacks in 4 directions, 57 clashes took place at the front

The General Staff's report says this. 

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

At the same time, the Russian army continued shelling the entire borderline with mortars and artillery: over 10 settlements across the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions were attacked. 

Russian attacks in frontline Ukrainian regions

In the Kupyansk direction, 5 settlements of the Kharkiv region came under artillery shelling. 

In the Lyman direction, over 10 settlements in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions came under Russian fire. 

In the Bakhmut direction, over 20 localities in the Donetsk region were attacked by the invading Russian forces. 

In the Avdiivka direction, more than 15 settlements in the Donetsk region were attacked.

In the Marinka direction, over 10 settlements in the Donetsk region came under shelling. 

In the Shakhtarsk direction, over 10 localities in the Donetsk region were shelled. 

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, about 25 towns and villages were subjected to numerous attacks by the occupying Russian army.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol sector, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

Russian army launched 5 missile strikes, 75 airstrikes against Ukraine

Over the past day, 57 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy launched 5 missile strikes, 75 airstrikes, and about 56 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems at the Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

Defense Forces destroyed 5 radar stations and 2 enemy munitions depots

Over the past day, the Defense Forces' aviation launched 9 strikes on the invading Russian troops' military positions and 3 strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.

The missile troops hit 5 radar stations, 2 munitions depots, a manpower concentration area, 2 command posts, 3 anti-aircraft missile systems, and 11 enemy artillery pieces.

• ISW analysts suggest that the Russian troops are preparing for another wave of ground attacks near Avdiivka, Donetsk region, despite their heavy losses.
