Russia loses aircraft, 24 artillery systems, 1,460 soldiers in one day in Ukraine – General Staff
On February 8, Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated 1,460 Russian soldiers and military equipment, including a warplane and 11 tanks

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For the first time in a long time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down a Russian Su-25 military aircraft.
Total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to February 9, 2025 were approximately:

- On the evening of February 6, the Russian army attacked the Myropillia community in the Sumy region with guided bombs, destroying an apartment building and causing casualties.
