General Staff report: Russian forces try to advance in 4 directions of the front, but without success

The General Staff notes that the Ukrainian Defense Forces keep going forward with defense operations in eastern and southern Ukraine, offensive operations in the Melitopol direction and offensives in the Bakhmut direction, destroying Russian forces, liberating the temporarily occupied territories step by step, and consolidating the achieved positions.

In the area of responsibility of the North operational-strategic group, near the border with Belarus, the operational situation remains without significant changes.

In the northeastern border area, Russian forces maintain a grouping of troops covering the state border, conducting active sabotage activities in the border areas to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group in the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the Russian troops did not conduct any offensive (assault) operations.

In the Bakhmut direction, they unsuccessfully tried to regain the lost position near Klishchiivka, Luhansk region.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group in the Avdiivka, Marinka and Shakhtarsk directions, the Russian invaders carried out over 10 unsuccessful attacks near Marinka, Donetsk region. They also tried to regain their lost position southwest of Avdiivka, Novoselivka, and Stepove in the Donetsk region to no avail.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian troops tried to regain their lost ground near Novodarivka and Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region, but had no success.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol direction, offensive (assault) operations in the Bakhmut direction, inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces, and exhaust the Russian army along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, Ukrainian soldiers continue counter-battery combat, destroying supply depots and successfully striking at Russia's rear.

The Russian army launches missiles, Shahed drones, and aviation to attack Ukraine

In total, Russia launched 8 missile strikes and carried out 99 airstrikes, targeting both Ukrainian troops and civilian objects. Additionally, Russia deployed approximately 40 Iranian-made attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type from the southern direction, further attacking Ukraine.

Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense forces successfully intercepted and destroyed 30 Shaheds within the Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Vinnytsia regions. Unfortunately, there have been casualties among the civilian population due to Russian terrorist attacks, resulting in damage to private residences and other civilian infrastructure.

Airstrikes impacted various areas, including 25 settlements across Chernihiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.

Russian artillery fire targeted over 120 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.

Ukrainian defense forces repeatedly target concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons, and military equipment

In the past day, Ukrainian aviation launched 17 strikes on such areas and 8 strikes on Russian anti-aircraft missile systems.

Ukrainian missile forces successfully struck 6 Russian anti-aircraft missile systems, 10 artillery pieces, and 3 ammunition depots.
