Russia loses about 45,400 soldiers, 1,919 tanks and 4230 armored vehicles since starting war in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to August 22 amounted to:

•  personnel - about 45,400 (+200 per day) 

•   tanks - 1,919 (+7)

•   armored fighting vehicles - 4,230 (+6) 

•   artillery systems - 1032 (+4) 

•   MLRS - 266 (+0) 

•   air defense systems - 145 (+4)

•   aircraft - 234 (+0) 

•   helicopters -  198 (+1) 

•   vehicles and tank trucks - 3149 (+6) 

•   ships/boats - 15 (+0) 

•   UAV operational-tactical level - 792 (+2)

•   special equipment - 99 (+0)

•   cruise missiles -194 (+4)

On August 21, Russian forces suffered the greatest losses in the Donetsk direction.
