Russia loses about 39,240 soldiers, 1,708 tanks and 714 drones starting war in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to July 23 amounted to:

•  personnel - about 39,240 (+240 per day) 

•   tanks - 1,708 (+4)

•   armored fighting vehicles - 3,929 (+9) 

•   artillery systems - 864 (+1)

•   MLRS - 253 (+2)

•   air defense systems - 113

•   aircraft - 221 

•   helicopters - 188

•   vehicles and tank trucks - 2,820 (+17) 

•   ships/boats - 15

•   UAV operational-tactical level - 714 (+1)

•   special equipment - 72 

•   cruise missiles - 167 

Russian forces suffered the greatest losses over the past day in the Kramatorsk, Bakhmut (Donetsk region - Ed.) and Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region - Ed.) directions.
