Russia loses about 38,750 soldiers, 1,700 tanks and 221 aircraft starting war in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to July 20 amounted to:

•  personnel - about 38,750 (+200 per day) 

•   tanks - 1,700 (+9)

•   armored fighting vehicles - 3,905 (+13) 

•   artillery systems - 856 (+5)

•   MLRS - 250 (+2)

•   air defense systems - 113

•   aircraft - 221 (+1)

•   helicopters - 188

•   vehicles and tank trucks - 2,775 (+8)

•   ships/boats - 15

•   UAV operational-tactical level - 703 (+10)

•   special equipment - 70 

•   cruise missiles - 167 

Russian forces suffered the greatest losses over the past day in the Bakhmut direction (Donetsk region - Ed.)
