Russia loses 650 soldiers, 8 cruise missiles and one air defense system in one day
Since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russian forces have lost 195,620 troops, 955 cruise missiles and 307 air defense systems

In the morning of May 9, an air raid siren was announced throughout Ukraine. In the Kyiv region, air defense shot down 15 Russian missiles: debris fell in the Holosiivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of the capital.
