Russia loses 5 tanks, 27 artillery systems and 420 troops over 24 hours of war in Ukraine - General Staff

During another day of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russian army has been trying to recapture lost positions near Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region and Robotyno in the south. Losses among the invaders reached 276 thousand people

Russia tries to regain its lost ground near Klishchiivka and Robotyne

The Ukrainian army maintains defensive actions in eastern and southern Ukraine, conducting offensive operations in the Melitopol sector and in the Bakhmut sector.

In the area of responsibility of the North operational-strategic group, in the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation remains without significant changes.

In the northeastern border area, Russian troops conduct active subversive activities in order to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened axes. The adversary increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

Khortytsia operational-strategic group, Kupyansk, and Lyman directions: the enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions. Bakhmut direction: the Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled attacks in the areas east of Bohdanivka and southeast of Bila Hora, Donetsk oblast. Russia unsuccessfully attempted to regain its lost position in the vicinity of Klishchiivka, Donetsk oblast.

Tavria operational-strategic group, Avdiivka direction: the Ukrainian Defense Forces are successfully holding the line, and repelled enemy attacks in the vicinity of Avdiivka, Donetsk oblast.

Marinka direction: the Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinity of Marinka, Donetsk oblast, where it made more than 14 unsuccessful attempts to force Ukrainian troops out of their positions during the day of September 24.

At the same time, in the Shakhtarske direction, the Ukrainian defenders continued to hold the line and defend Ukrainian land from the occupiers.

Melitopol sector: the Ukrainian Defense Forces continued their offensive and successfully repelled enemy attacks in the vicinity of the settlement of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Odesa operational-strategic group, Kherson direction: the Ukrainian army continued to conduct counter-battery fire, destroy the warehouses, and successfully strike behind the enemy lines.

Russian army carried out 56 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine


The Russian invaders continue to ignore international humanitarian law, firing not only at the positions of the Ukrainian army but also at the civilian infrastructure of settlements, terrorizing civilians.

For example, last night Russia attacked Ukraine with missiles and kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136/13 type. In the Odesa region, port infrastructure was hit. Information on the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being clarified.

The enemy launched 1 missile strike and 56 air strikes, fired 85 times from multiple launch rocket systems at both the positions of our troops and civilian objects of our country. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Private homes and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Air strikes were carried out in Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. More than 70 settlements came also under artillery fire.

Ukrainian defense forces hit the areas of invaders' concentration 8 times


Over the past day, the aviation of the defense forces carried out 8 strikes on the enemy's personnel, weapons, and military equipment clusters.

Missile troops destroyed 2 anti-aircraft missile systems, 4 artillery pieces, and 1 enemy ammunition depot.
