The final data is being clarified

On July 18, over 20 combat engagements between Ukraine's Defense Forces and invading Russian troops took place at the front

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this on July 19.

Frontline situation

Invading Russian forces are attacking in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka sectors, with over 20 combat engagements taking place over the last day.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected.

At the same time, the Russian Federation continued shelling the entire line of contact with mortars and artillery: over 20 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions were attacked.

Shelling of Ukrainian regions

In the Kupiansk direction, 5 settlements of the Kharkiv region came under artillery shelling.

In the Lyman direction, 8 settlements in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions came under Russian fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, over 10 localities in the Donetsk region were attacked by the invading Russian forces.

In the Avdiivka direction, over 15 settlements in the Donetsk region were attacked.

In the Marinka direction, over 10 settlements in the Donetsk region came under shelling.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, over 10 localities in the Donetsk region were shelled.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, over 20 cities and villages were subjected to numerous attacks by the occupying Russian army.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdiansk sectors, consolidating their positions, inflicting fire damage, and conducting counter-battery operations.

Russian forces in Skadovsk use the port to export grain from Ukraine

Invading Russian forces continue to rob civilians, appropriating the grain harvest of Ukrainian civilians.

For example, in the temporarily occupied Skadovsk, Kherson region, the Russians have been using the port since July 10 to export this year's grain harvest to their ports.

Russia launched 80 airstrikes and 74 MLRS attacks against Ukraine over the last day

The Russian army launched a missile and air strike on the territory of Ukraine, using 6 Kalibr cruise missiles and 35 Iranian Shahed-136 attack UAVs. The Air Force destroyed 6 Kalibr cruise missiles and 31 attack UAVs.

In addition, the Russian troops launched 80 airstrikes and about 74 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems at the Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries, as well as damage to industrial facilities, residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains very high.

Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a Russian control center, 16 artillery pieces at firing positions and 3 munitions depots

Over the past day, the Defense Forces' aviation launched 12 strikes on the Russian troops' military positions and 3 strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.

Missile and artillery units destroyed 1 enemy control center, 1 anti-aircraft missile system, 16 artillery pieces at firing positions, 3 munitions depots, as well as 3 enemy electronic warfare stations.

  • In the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, Russian forces deployed an Akhmat unit on the territory of a former city clinic, and in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region, they converted the territory of recreation centers to accommodate their troops.
