Russia loses 28,700 soldiers, 1,263 tanks, 204 aircraft and 168 helicopters starting Ukraine war

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to May 20 amounted to:

•  personnel - about 28,700 (+200 per day) 

•   tanks - 1,263 (+9) 

•   armored fighting vehicles - 3,090 (+27) 

•   artillery systems - 596 (+1)

•   MLRS - 200 (+1)

•   air defense systems - 93 

•   aircraft - 204 (+1)

•   helicopters - 168 (+1)

•   vehicles and tank trucks - 2,162 (+5) 

•   ships/boats - 13

•   UAV operational-tactical level - 460 (+5)

•   special equipment - 43 

•   cruise missiles - 103 

Russian forces suffered the greatest losses over the past day in the Bakhmut direction (Donetsk region - Ed.)
