Russia loses 28,500 soldiers, 1,254 tanks, 203 aircraft, 595 artillery systems and 455 drones since starting Ukraine war
From February 24 to May 19, Russia has lost about 28,500 soldiers, 1,254 tanks, 203 aircraft and 3,063 armored fighting vehicles.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to May 19 amounted to:
personnel - about 28,500 (+200 per day)
tanks - 1,254 (+3)
armored fighting vehicles - 3,063 (+20)
artillery systems - 595 (+9)
MLRS - 199
air defense systems - 93 (+2)
aircraft - 203 (+1)
helicopters - 167
vehicles and tank trucks - 2,157 (+20)
ships/boats - 13
UAV operational-tactical level - 455 (+14)
special equipment - 43
cruise missiles - 103 (+1)
Russian forces suffered the greatest losses over the past day in the Slovyansk, Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhzhya directions.
