Russia launches missiles at Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine causing damage
On the morning of November 8, Russian troops launched missiles at Lezhyne, Zaporizhzhia region, damaging a house and nearby buildings, and Stepneska community, damaging a farm.
Oleksandr Starukh, the head of Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, reported the incidents on Telegram.
"This morning, Russian terrorists attacked one of the villages of the Zaporizhia district with S-300 missiles," he wrote.
One enemy missile struck a farmhouse, damaging the house and surrounding buildings, another missile exploded in a field.
The Presidential Office of Ukraine specified that Russian launched the attack at 04:30 a.m. The village of Lezhine was targeted. Stepneska community of the Zaporizhia district also came under fire. The private sector and a farm suffered from the attack there.
"Fortunately, no one was killed or injured," noted Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko.
A total of 74 shellings were recorded during the day, of which 58 were aimed at civilian infrastructure facilities in 17 different settlements.
