“The Russians fired missiles at Kharkiv. The S-300 air defense system was in place before the attack. Special services are now examining the aftermath in the Kholodnohirsky district,” the message said.
As of 9:30 a.m., there is no information about any victims, according to him.
Kharkiv mayor, Ihor Terekhov, also confirmed the shelling of the city. He urged everyone to be cautious.
Yesterday evening, on Saturday, August 5, the Russians targeted the blood transfusion center in Kharkiv with a guided aerial bomb. Two people lost their lives, and four others were injured in the attack.
