Russia launches missile attack on Kharkiv

On the morning of Sunday, August 6, the Russian army hit the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv with S-300 missiles. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties 

This was reported by the head of Kharkiv regional military administration Oleh Syniehubov.

“The Russians fired missiles at Kharkiv. The S-300 air defense system was in place before the attack. Special services are now examining the aftermath in the Kholodnohirsky district,” the message said. 

As of 9:30 a.m., there is no information about any victims, according to him.

Kharkiv mayor, Ihor Terekhov, also confirmed the shelling of the city. He urged everyone to be cautious.

• Yesterday evening, on Saturday, August 5, the Russians targeted the blood transfusion center in Kharkiv with a guided aerial bomb. Two people lost their lives, and four others were injured in the attack.
