Russia launches 44 air and one missile strike on Ukraine per day – General Staff

This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff.

In addition, Russia launched another massive air strike on the territory of Ukraine, using Shahed-136/131 strike drones. A total of 31 drones were launched, 29 of which were destroyed. There were civilian casualties, private residential buildings and other civilian and administrative infrastructure were damaged.

In turn, missile and artillery units struck 3 command posts, an area of enemy concentration, 4 artillery units at firing positions, an anti-aircraft missile system, 3 fuel and lubricant depots and an electronic warfare station over the past day.

Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 11 Russian attacks in Luhansk and Donetsk regions

In the northern direction, the operational situation remains stable, with no signs of offensive groups forming.

The Russian forces continue to maintain a heavy military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. On May 30, the enemy made an unsuccessful attempt to infiltrate a subversive reconnaissance group across the state border of Ukraine near Zelene, Kharkiv region. It also conducted an air strike near the village of Udy. It also carried out mortar and artillery attacks on 2 settlements in Chernihiv region; 3 settlements in Sumy region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian troops launched unsuccessful offensives west of Masiutivka, Kharkiv region, and in the direction of Novoselivske, Luhansk region, over the course of the day. 7 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under artillery and mortar fire.

The Russian enemy did not launch any offensive actions in the Lyman direction over the last day. Russian forces launched air strikes in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Yampolivka, Donetsk region. 2 settlements in the Luhansk region and 1 settlement in the Donetsk region came under artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian army did not take any offensive actions over the last day. It carried out an air strike near Vesele and a missile attack near New York in the Donetsk region. 8 settlements  in the Donetsk region suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy attacked in the direction of Sieverne, but it was unsuccessful. Russia carried out air strikes in the area of Avdiivka, fired artillery at 4 settlements in the Donetsk region.

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks near Marinka, as well as in 2 other settlements. At the same time, the enemy launched an air strike on the town of Marinka, and 2 more settlements in Donetsk region came under artillery fire.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian forces launched an air strike in the area of Velyka Novosilka. They fired at 5 localities

The Russian enemy continued to be on the defensive in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. They launched an air strike near Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia region. Russian army also fired at 3 settlements in the Donetsk region; 7 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region; 3 settlements in the Kherson region.

On the night of 30 May, Ukrainian air defence forces destroyed 20 'Shaheds' in the Kyiv area, with the wreckage hitting a multi-storey building. As a result, one person was killed, 9 were injured, fires and destruction were reported. Four people were injured in the Kyiv region.
