Russia launches 4 missile strikes, 16 airstrikes, 40 MLRS attacks per day - General Staff

Over the past day, the Russian military has launched 4 missile strikes, 16 airstrikes and more than 40 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) on the territory of Ukraine. Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the Russian attacks in the areas of Stelmakhivka and Novoselivske settlements, Luhansk region, and Torske, Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, Spirne, Toretsk, Krasnohorivka, Pervomaiske, Mariinka, Novomykhailivka and Pavlivka in the Donetsk region.

Stabilization measures are ongoing in the liberated settlements in the Kherson region.  And the Russian enemy continues the fortification technique of the defense lines on the left bank of the Dnipro River. 

More than 20 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia, Cherkasy, Kharkiv and Donetsk regions were hit.

The situation in the Volyn and Polissya directions has not changed significantly. The formation of the Russian-Belarusian grouping of troops on the territory of the Republic of Belarus continues.

The Russian forces fired in other directions:

• in the Slobozhansk direction - from mortars and barrel artillery, in the areas of Ternova, Bolokhivka, Vilkhuvatka, Zelene, Kolodiazne, Okhirtseve, and Staritsa settlements;

• in the Kupiansk and Lyman directions - from tanks and artillery of various calibers, in the areas of Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Rozdolivka, Siversk, Kislivka, Nevske, Makiivka, Ploshanka and Tabaivka settlements;

• in the Bakhmut direction - from tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery, in the areas of Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmut, Maiorsk, Ozaryanivka, Ivanhrad, Verkhnookamianske, Zelenopillya, Spirne and New York.

• in the Avdiivka direction - from tanks and all kinds of artillery, in the areas of Avdiivka, Mariinka, Vodiane, Kamianka, Krasnokhorivka, and Novomykhailivka;

• in the Novopavlivka direction - from tanks and artillery of various types, in the areas of the settlements of Vremivka, Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Pavlivka, Poltavka, Paraskovyvka, and Prechystivka;

• in the Zaporizhzia direction - from tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Malynivka, Novodanilivka, Novopillya, and Olkhivske;

• in the Tavriisk direction - from artillery of various types, in the areas of Mylove, Zolota Balka, and Mykhailivka settlements.

Aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Russian enemy 13 times. 8 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as 5 positions of the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems were damaged.
