Russia kills 2 residents and injures 4 in Luhansk region, injures 6 more in Donetsk region
On January 9, Russian troops killed two and injured four residents of Nevske, Luhansk region. Four civilians from Bakhmut and two from Kurakhivka, Donetsk region, were also injured
This was reported by the Luhansk Regional Military Administration and the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko.
"On January 9, Nevske village, located in the Krasnorichenske community of Svatove district, came under massive Russian shelling. After the de-occupation, about 150 people remained to live there. Two of them were killed by Russian forces yesterday. Two more were injured. Russia continues to hunt non-civilians," the Luhansk regional military administration wrote.
Kyrylenko claimed, on January 9, Russian forces injured 6 civilians in the Donetsk region, 4 in Bakhmut and 2 in Kurakhivka.
However, it is currently impossible to establish the exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
In total, 1295 people have been killed and 2839 injured since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion in the Donetsk region.

General Staff claims Russian forces are advancing at Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Lyman directions and are focused on capturing the Donetsk region.
