Russia is trying to shift main focus to Avdiivka encirclement - military expert Zgurets
Defense Express CEO Serhiy Zgurets notes that Avdiivka remains the second most difficult frontline area after Bakhmut
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"The enemy is trying to shift the main focus and its efforts to the encirclement of Avdiivka. The enemy is trying to advance from the north and south. Avdiivka is beginning to resemble Marinka, which is completely destroyed. About 2,000 civilians remain in Avdiivka, but some of them want to stay in the city. Disconnecting mobile communications in Avdiivka is one of the elements of strengthening our defense capabilities," emphasized Zgurets.
Defense Express CEO also added that the situation in Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions is similar.
"The Ukrainian military remains in control of the logistics routes. The frontline is not changing. This shows that we can continue to hold these difficult areas of the frontline, understanding the strategic task - the destruction of the enemy force and preparation of reserves," explained Zgurets.
