Russia tries to break through to Petropavlivka and Senkivka, Kharkiv region - Kupyansk Military Administration
The head of the Kupyansk district military administration, Andriy Kanashevych, says the occupying Russian army is conducting assault operations in the direction of Petropavlivka, Senkivka, and Kurylivka is suffering from air strikes
He told this on Espreso TV.
"The enemy continues its assault actions in the direction of two settlements, Petropavlivka and Senkivka, and Kurylivka is suffering from guided aerial bombs. We can say that the enemy carries out such attacks every day, and aircraft departure reports are received somewhere between 3 and 5. Accordingly, the attacks with guided aerial bombs, which are mostly directed, as far as we understand, at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but hit the settlements, destroying infrastructure and private houses," said the head of Kupyansk District Military Administration.
Kanashevych also commented on the statements of some Russian so-called military commanders that the Russian army has already captured Senkivka: "Fighting is taking place on the approaches to Senkivka, it has been going on there for a long time, the front line there remains unchanged."
"Our guys are holding the line, and the enemy is always capturing something from us, but we don't pay attention to it because we know the objective information. We understand that the situation remains tense, but controlled in terms of what the enemy is doing," he emphasized.
- Back in August, it was reported that heavy fighting was taking place in the areas of Senkivka and Bohdanivka and that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had succeeded south of the liberated Urozhaine.
