He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"We have been near Kreminna since mid-November. We were sent for rotation to the Kharkiv region only a few days ago. A few days before we were withdrawn, our aerial reconnaissance group returned to Kreminna because the situation had escalated and problems had arisen. Russian troops were launching offensive actions against our positions and succeeding. Parts of our unit that had to be withdrawn to better prepared positions," said Doroshenko.
The Ukrainian National Guard officer emphasized that Russian infantry has been amassed near Kreminna.
"Russian forces have a sufficient number of personnel and armored vehicles near Kreminna. Their artillery is also constantly working. They do not allow our guys to gain a foothold in their positions. Therefore, the situation near Kreminna is very complicated. They do have an accumulation of infantry. So we should not underestimate the enemy," he added.
