Russia is preparing for new deepfake with Zelensky - Center for Strategic Communications

One of the favorite technological methods of propagandists in information war was deepfeak. Concept of dipfeys is very simple. In fact, you need to transfer face of one person on video with another. Hundreds of hours of video with the right person are collected for this purpose. And then start working neural networks, which generate desired image, "- said in a statement.

It is known that on March 16, Russians published a fake "statement by President Volodymyr Zelensky" in which he allegedly called on Ukrainians to stop fighting and lay down their arms. It was actively distributed by pro-Russian telegram channels and some resources, which were also hacked by hackers.

According to information available at the Center for Strategic Communications,  enemy is preparing to launch a deep fake with Zelensky in nearest  future. As part of this Russian special operation, it is planned to create impression that President will express "his negative attitude towards Ukrainian cities, including Mariupol."

"Be vigilant - trust information only from verified sources,"  Center said.
