Russia is expanding fortifications near occupied Mariupol - mayor's adviser
Russian troops have begun to massively expand defensive structures at the entrance to the temporarily occupied Mariupol, Donetsk region
Advisor to the Mayor of Mariupol Petro Andriushchenko wrote about this.
According to him, the invading Russian forces are currently restoring the defense structures, they are in a combat-ready condition.
"In addition, they are massively expanding in both directions (east and west). Not just expanding - the occupation garrison is regularly training here," Andriushchenko wrote.
He also suggested that "the battle for Mariupol will not be easy, but it will definitely happen."
In Mariupol, the Russian invaders transport combat kits from warehouses to training grounds in trailers of civilian cars.
