"From warehouses to training grounds in trailers": In Mariupol Russia transports ammunition in civilian cars
In the temporarily occupied Mariupol, Donetsk region, Russian invaders are transporting combat kits from warehouses to training grounds in trailers of civilian cars
This was reported by the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andriushchenko.
"Finally, we were able to record the fact that the ammunition is being transported around the city not by trucks, but by civilian (conditionally) transport," the statement reads.
Andriushchenko said that the invaders are simply transporting ammunition in trailers from warehouses in the industrial zone to training grounds and units located around Mariupol and in the surrounding villages. According to him, the invaders are doing this in such a way as to avoid attracting attention and preventing the detection of all the warehouses.
"We have had this information for a long time, but without direct visual evidence, we did not dare to confirm it, because it even sounds wild. But, no. Now we are sure and it will be more difficult for the occupiers to hide," emphasized the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol.
- A day earlier, Russian army units were spotted in occupied Mariupol moving from the Berdiansk direction in columns accompanied by military police.
