Russia is forming special forces groups in Svatove and Kharkiv areas and looking for weaknesses in Ukraine's defense - military man Fedorenko

Yuriy Fedorenko, commander of the 112th Brigade of the Kyiv Territorial Defense Forces, deputy of the Kyiv City Council, shared the information with Espreso TV.

"The enemy is forming groups of 10 to 20 people from among the special forces of contractors and Wagner mercenaries who are trying to launch assault and attack operations in certain parts of the front line, testing whether we have weaknesses in our defense," he emphasized.

According to Yuriy Fedorenko, Russian groups' efforts result in them getting repelled and retreating.

• On January 15, the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai noted that the Ukrainian Defense Forces were advancing deep into the Luhansk region in very heavy fighting towards Kreminna and Svatove.
