Serhiy Khlan, a deputy of the Kherson Regional Council, reported the information on Espreso TV.

"The strategy of coercive passportization is entirely centrally controlled. In Henichesk, a notice has been issued stating that individuals who do not take a Russian passport will be ineligible to receive educational documents. The occupying authorities are taking even more severe measures - in the Henichesk and Skadovsk districts, they are withholding insulin from those who have not acquired a Russian passport. They have declared that access to medical treatment will be restricted without a Russian passport," he said.

Khlan also mentioned that the occupying forces and collaborators are instructing farms to provide reports on land payments.

"Those who do not have a Russian passport, the occupiers will make sure that such people are not paid for the land. Now they are putting pressure not only on farmers for forced re-registration, but also on landowners. They say that no one will pay them money without a Russian passport. Moreover, they threaten that if they do not receive a passport and do not re-register the land, the land and all property will be confiscated, and the person will be deported from the occupied Kherson region by the New Year," the official summarized.

  • On July 24, the mayor of Enerhodar, Dmytro Orlov, said that it was very dangerous for people who had not received a Russian passport to move around the city of Enerhodar. Not to mention traveling outside the city or to other occupied territories.

  • Subsequently, the National Resistance Center revealed that the Russian occupying forces in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories have issued threats to students aged 14 and above, stating that school diplomas will not be issued unless they acquire a Russian passport.
