Russia increases aviation deployment — Ukrainian official
Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, highlights that Russian forces are struggling to predict the next area of escalation by the Ukrainian Armed Forces
She shared the information on Espreso TV.
"The enemy does not stop maneuvering forces and means, conducting counter-battery warfare and intensifies the use of aviation. In recent days, the enemy has been using up to 10 guided aerial bombs aimed at the Beryslav district (southern Ukraine - ed.)," noted Humeniuk.
According to her, Russia is trying to target agricultural facilities in the southern Ukraine to put pressure on the civilian population.
"Thus, the occupiers are trying to stop the advance of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, redirecting them to other areas, as they are struggling to predict the next area of escalation by the Ukrainian Armed Forces," emphasized Humeniuk.
