Russia is trying to regain lost ground near Bakhmut, Ukrainian army successfully repels attacks

Thus, according to the General Staff, 35 combat clashes took place on the frontline over the past day.

In the area of responsibility of the North operational-strategic group, in the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation remains without significant changes.

In the northeastern border area, Russian forces continue to keep a group of troops protecting the state border. They are actively conducting sabotage activities in the border areas to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to dangerous areas, and are increasing the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group on the Bakhmut directions, the Defense Forces successfully repelled Russia's attacks near Klishchiivka, Donetsk region. The Russian invaders tried to regain lost ground near Andriivka, Donetsk region, but they failed. Defense forces continue assault operations in the area south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on Russia, and consolidating their positions.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group in the Marinka directions, the Russian forces carried out unsuccessful offensives near Marinka, Donetsk region. Over the past day, they made over 10 unsuccessful attempts to force Ukrainian troops out of their positions. At the same time, in the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions, the Defense Forces are holding the initiative, putting pressure on the enemy and regaining Ukraine's territory step by step.

In the Melitopol direction, the Russian army carried out unsuccessful offensives near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region, trying to regain lost ground. The defense forces continue to hold the line, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and exhausting the Russian enemy.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, the defense forces are engaged in counter-battery combat, destroying supply depots and successfully striking at Russia's rear.

Kremlin sends 100 conscripts to military airfield in Crimea

According to the Ukraine's General Staff, the Kremlin continues to send military personnel from the territorial subjects of the Russian Federation to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Thus, on September 15 this year, about 100 conscripts from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic of the Russian Federation arrived in the temporarily occupied city of Dzhankoi, Crimea, at the local military airfield to strengthen the protection and defense of the facility.

Russian army launched 22 missile strikes on Ukraine, while the Defense Forces struck 9 times at the occupiers' areas

Yesterday, the Russian Federation launched another attack on Ukraine with air-launched cruise missiles and Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. Air defense destroyed all 17 cruise missiles and 18 out of 24 Shahed drones. Unfortunately, as a result of such terrorist actions of the Kremlin, there are wounded among the civilian population, destroyed residential buildings and damaged civilian infrastructure.

Russia launched 22 missile and 57 air strikes, fired 55 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas.

Air strikes hit 3 settlements in Kharkiv region; 1 in Luhansk region; 6 in Donetsk region; 2 in Zaporizhzhia region; 3 in Kherson region.

More than 70 settlements in Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions were subjected to artillery fire.

At the same time, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 9 strikes on the areas of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration over the past day.

In addition, the missile troops destroyed 2 areas of Russian concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 3 anti-aircraft missile systems, 19 artillery units, and 1 control center.

• On the night of September 19, the Russian occupiers launched Shahed drones on Ukraine, and air defense was operating in Lviv and several other regions. In Lviv, a man and a woman were rescued from the rubble due to the attack.
