Russia hits energy infrastructure objects in Lviv region: work of city's thermal power plants is suspended

On the morning of October 10, explosions rang out in Lviv and the region. Russian occupiers fired 15 rockets across the region, some of them hit energy infrastructure facilities

This was announced by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, and the mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy.

As of 10:57, it is known that 15 rockets attacked the Lviv region. Some of them were shot down by anti-aircraft fire.

An explosion was recorded at a critical infrastructure facility in Lviv. Relevant services went to the place.

Due to the lack of electricity, the operation of the city's thermal power plants has been temporarily suspended.

"That's why hot water is not being supplied at the moment. Backup generators have been started at several pumping stations to restore water supply to the city," Sadovy wrote.

Part of the city without electricity. A third of the traffic lights do not work. So, after the alarm is over, regulators will work at difficult intersections.

Residents of Lviv region, stay in shelters, there is a threat of new missile attacks. Do not spread any photos, videos and assumptions, do not help the enemy," Kozytsky emphasized in his telegram

Learning in Lviv schools today is online. The online lesson will start one hour after the alarm ends.

There are also interruptions with communication and the Internet.

"Outages with mobile communication in the city are temporary. The operators say they will restore it now," Sadovy added.
