This was reported in a telethon by Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Press Center of the Operational Command South.

"The enemy's ship grouping is quite powerful - 15 ships are on combat duty, including three missile carriers: Two are surface and one is underwater. Yesterday, this grouping was reinforced, and this may indicate that Russia is trying to keep Ukrainians on their toes, despite the fact that the surface ships may not be equipped. Because the Dzhankoi cargo did not reach its destination after all. A submarine is a rather powerful threat, although it has only 4 missiles, they are highly accurate and can be used against particularly important targets," says Humeniuk.

The head of the press center emphasized that this means that the Russians are possibly ready for a missile strike. At the same time, they are dispersing Ukrainian air defense into their missile carriers, surface, underwater and, probably, Shaheds: "They have not invented any other tactics - how to diversify threats so that Ukraine's air defense does not have time to respond."

Regarding the explosions in Dzhankoi, Humeniuk noted that the Russian ships may not be fully equipped at the moment.

"The surface-to-air missile carriers that entered the basing point in anticipation of the very cargo may not be fully equipped. That is, if we talk about the tactical and technical capacity they have - three missile carriers - this is up to 20 Kalibr missiles," the spokeswoman added.

  • Late in the evening of March 20, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Crimea. It is reported that Russian Kalibr-NK cruise missiles were destroyed, which were being transported by rail to Dzhankoi. After the nighttime explosions, the occupation authorities introduced a municipal emergency regime.

  • Russian media reported damage to the depot, guards, and warehouses at the railway station as a result of the attack on the evening of March 20 in the temporarily occupied Dzhankoi. The Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the explosions were a signal to the invaders that it was time to leave.

  • On the evening of March 21, Russian Su-35 fighter jets launched missiles from the sea at Odesa region. Two missiles were shot down by the Air Defense Forces. Another missile hit the building of the UOC-MP monastery.
