Russia forces students in Zaporizhzhia region to sing Russian national anthem before their classes – General Staff

This was reported by the AFU General Staff on February 19.

"In the Tokmak schools, students are forced to sing the anthem of the aggressor country before the classes begin. Also, schoolchildren are forced to make drawings for the anniversary of the large-scale invasion with words of support and gratitude to the Russian army that invaded our country," the post says.

It is also noted that in Kalanchak, Kherson region, the Russian occupiers have set up another military hospital in the central hospital.

"Citizens of Ukraine are denied medical care there. The hospital has become a kind of a "hub" for the wounded and dead Russian soldiers. Just yesterday, more than fifty wounded and killed invaders were brought to the medical institution," it was noted.

During the day, the enemy launched 9 missile and 11 air strikes, and also carried out more than 20 MLRS attacks. There are wounded and dead among the civilian population.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus no enemy offensive groups have been detected.

The areas of 3 settlements of Chernihiv region, 3 settlements of Sumy region and 4 settlements in Kharkiv region were shelled. 

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, more than 12 settlements were affected by fire.

In the Bakhmut direction more than 8 settlements were shelled by mortars and artillery. The enemy used army aviation to launch a strike in the Bakhmut area.

In the Avdiivka direction, 15 settlements of the Donetsk region came under tank, mortar and artillery shelling. 

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, more than 8 settlements were affected by fire.

In the Kherson direction, the city of Kherson as well as 4 settlement areas were damaged by enemy artillery fire.

During the day, the AFU aviation carried out 20 strikes on Russian military positions, 7 – on air defense systems positions, 2 – on the enemy facilities.

It is also added that during the day our defenders shot down an enemy Su-25 aircraft, 2 Orlan-10 type unmanned aerial vehicles and a Lancet-3 kamikaze drone.

"Units of rocket troops and artillery hit a Russian battery of rocket systems," it was added.
