Russia fires over 100 times at Ukrainian positions in Zaporizhzhia overnight: residential buildings damaged
On March 31, Russian troops 104 times attacked positions of Ukrainian defenders in Zaporizhzhia region with tanks, rocket and cannon artillery, damaging residential buildings and civilian infrastructure
This is stated in a message from the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration on Telegram, citing data from the National Police.
"The situation in the Zaporizhzhia direction has not changed significantly over the last day. The Russian enemy is focusing its main efforts on holding the occupied positions. Over the past day, they fired 104 times at the positions of Ukrainian defenders, using tanks, rocket launchers and cannon artillery along the entire contact line," the statement said.
Also, according to the Zaporizhzhia region’s police, over the past day, the occupying Russian army fired at civilian infrastructure near the 18 settlements, as well as the city of Zaporizhzhia.
There were 46 reports of the destruction of civilian houses (apartments) and infrastructure as a result of shelling by the Russian military.
The local officials also reported that no evacuations of civilians from the temporarily occupied territories were carried out over the past day.

On the night of March 30-31, Russian troops opened fire on civilians in Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the shelling, a private house caught fire and an infrastructure facility was damaged.

On the afternoon of March 31, the Russian army attacked the town of Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia region from aircraft: 2 civilians were injured.
