This was announced today by a high-ranking representative of the US Department of Defense, informs Espresso.West.

According to him, since the beginning of the war, the Russians have launched more than 900 missiles of various types and sizes in Ukraine.

"What we see is a constant military effort that aims to conquer these settlements. And this is being done with more and more violence. For this (Russians. - Ed.) they are using more and more long-range weapons, which are indiscriminate.  in terms of what it strikes", the Pentagon spokesman said.

But he noted that, despite the bombing, large Ukrainian cities are courageously defending themselves, remembering Mykolaiv and the city of Brovary.

Russian troops have not made much progress over the past few days, the official said. "Almost all of Russia's advances remain at an impasse".
